With accomplishments that include school growth and the sharing of best practices, this acclaimed no-cost initiative has delivered on its promise of educating participants through innovative client-to-client mentoring.
“Our extraordinary achievements are the direct result of the program’s dedicated Team Leaders,” said Joe Galea, president of Member Solutions. Selected because of their proven business success and leadership abilities, all Team Leaders have the innate desire to give back to the martial arts community by mentoring other school owners to become even better, both personally and professionally.
“Before each Consulting Apprentice challenge,” adds Kathy Marlor, director of Consulting for Member Solutions, “we assess our entire client base and select 5% of our top clients for this integral leadership role.”
“And by leading other leaders, these elite few take their leadership skills to even greater heights!”
The winning team for the just-completed Fall session was led by Dan and Gwen Haney, owners/operators of Ernie Reyes’ World Martial Arts and Karate Kids, a martial arts school for children only, in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Haneys have been very enthusiastic about the opportunity to mentor other school owners and share their vast business knowledge. “We continually strived to take our team to a higher level and to teach each team member how to create extraordinary results,” says Gwen. “We are honored to be the next Member Solutions Consulting Apprentice,” adds Dan, “because mentoring others gives us the chance to share our vision and help our own personal growth -- which is a very important factor in developing a masterful program!”
Dan has been teaching in the Hillsboro area for 20 years. He is currently ranked a 4th Degree Black Belt under Master Ernie Reyes Sr. (Mixed Martial Arts) and ranked 4th Degree Black Belt by 88 year old Grand Master Cacoy Canete in Cacoy Doce Pares Eskrima (Filipino stick & blade fighting).
